Reflecting back on the year and we’re feeling pretty proud of these numbers.
➡️ Taught approximately 3000 school kids through our primary school squash programme.
➡️ Taught approximately 300 players at OTW & ISC on a weekly basis.
➡️ Ran 5 junior Grand Prix tournaments for beginners.
➡️ Trip to the Canary Wharf PSA Tournament.
➡️ Trip to German & Nordic junior opens.
➡️ Emily & OTW coaches ran the whole Aspire & Regional Programme.
➡️ Coaches helped at county training & inter county.
➡️ Karen ran the Essex Junior Open.
➡️ 1 week Elite Summer camp with 25 kids.
➡️ 8 Roman Cup rounds & 4 Saxon Cup rounds.
➡️ Lauren appointed National junior assistant coach & coached at England Development squads.
➡️ Lauren went on trips to Oz & Switzerland as England Assistant Coach.
➡️ Paul ran a level 2 coaching course.
➡️ Emily coached at Battle of the border.
➡️ Emily has coached at England Performance squads.
➡️ Lucie has done all social media, reels, posters, website & videos galore.
➡️ Emily ran the Ipswich silver, supported by OTWS.
➡️ Michael joined us after moving from Madeira.
➡️ Stan left us to go to uni.
➡️ Ollie & Amelie joined us.
➡️ Karen won a bid for a school education/squash programme.
➡️ Sold more progress awards with repeat & new coaches using the programme.
➡️ Sold more squash nets in the UK & internationally.
➡️ Paul had two hip operations.
➡️ Amy broke her foot.
➡️ Emily coached at super regional squads.
➡️ 3 Felsted friendlies.
➡️ We ran the Regional closed.
➡️ Emily & Lauren went to Denmark to deliver coach education.
➡️ Provided tournament support at the BJO, EJC & BJC for members.
➡️ Conor leaving us for a new career.
➡️ The academy is bursting at the seams with record numbers of members & new enquiries.
➡️ Mini squash sessions, ladies sessions & weekly adult club nights are now a regular feature & numbers are growing.
➡️ 2 new squads added to the weekly group sessions to accommodate enquiries.
We are truly blown away looking back & reflecting on what we’ve achieved this year & we’re positive next year will be bigger & better!
