training & workshops

passionate about developing squash

Putting time and energy into our juniors is the only way to develop talent for the future and to keep turning out world class athletes, but most importantly to get more children playing and having fun through squash.

We offer training and workshops for coaches nationally to intoroduce some of our junior development initiatives so that they can implement in their own clubs and regions.

We also sometimes team up with other like minded people and organisations to really get programmes and initiatives moving. England Squash and The PSA Foundation are two organisations we are currently working with who have shown their support and have endorsed our Junior Progress Awards.

We believe in action, not just talking about things!

Squash SKOOL

A 1 day immersive workshop to share with other coaches how to implement a Primary School Squash Programme like the one we have developed over the past 12 years.

We show coaches what a 6 week programme looks like, including how the children will learn basic hand-eye co-ordination skills, spatial awareness, racket skills, movement, balance, match play and refereeing. The programme is designed to be delivered over 5 weeks in the school hall, with the final week inviting the children to visit the local squash courts.

The key is inviting schools to compete in an inter-school Competition at the end of the programme and then feed into regular club activity.

Coach Education

We love to help support coaches to build on their approach to coaching. We can provide bespoke packages to help individuals or clubs and organisations to increase knowledge and share ideas on driving and improving coaching activity.

We can help with;

  • Developing new activities/programmes
  • Expanding delivery techniques
  • 1 day workshops in your club
  • Mentoring options in OTW settings
  • Online workshops

If you are interested in discussing any of the above and to understand how it works, please feel free to get in touch.
