We had THE BEST DAY at our Roman Cup Year 5 Finals on Thursday last week.

The standard just keeps blowing us away, year after year. We were so impressed by their game play, support of each other and stepping up to compete in, what could be a pretty daunting environment for a lot of the kids (and probably adults 😅).

We also had 4 sportsmanship awards, most improved boy & girl awards, as well as best boy & girl awards. This time we had our FIRST EVER JOINT best girl award! All points are tallied up over all games from the first round and the final total is worked out to determine points for and against… Incredibly both girls had the EXACT same total and so we now need to go out and buy another trophy!
A huge congratulations to everyone involved, we couldn’t do this without the support of the schools, parents, our OTW team to plan, deliver, referee, tally up the results and of course our brilliant local sponsors Artsy Image and Down the Cake Hole for supporting the event.
All the kids received a certificate, t shirt and a 1 month offer to try out the academy…we really hope to see more of these smiley paces on court soon! Happy days…
