The finals of our Years 5 & 6 Primary School Squash Competition culminated on Thursday last week and what a day it was!! We had 27 teams competing with a record total of 120 children across the two year groups. The kids were glued to the glass backs of the courts, cheering each other on as each player took their turn to try to get the win for their team. The best thing about the format is that EVERY point counts, so the end results can be incredibly close! As you can see from the pics, there were smiles, laughter and some amazing skills on display. All the coaches were incredibly proud of how much improvement can be seen across all the children.

A special mention goes to Layer de la Haye and Hazlemere for their first time in competing- the kids were great and were not fazed at all by the scale of the competition, they’re a credit to both schools.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors/partners, who make it possible for us to run an event like this;

Congratulations to all involved and thank you to the parents and teachers for supporting the programme and keeping the kids playing. We can’t wait to see you again next year!
