The Corporal Budd VC Gymnasium is an amazing 6 court complex in Colchester and is the home for the hive of activity that our OTWS team rolls out 6 days out of 7.
We have a very strong Junior section with over 130 members and we are building our adult section to provide training sessions and activities for a whole spectrum of ages and abilities.
We believe the coaching, facilities and environment we provide our players, who travel from all corners of Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, are some of the best in the Country.

The Colchester Garrison
The Cpl Budd VC Gymnasium, Berechurch Road, Colchester, Essex, CO2 9RQ.
The Academy is based on an Army Barracks, and is not a public facility, therefore we must remind you to respect the facility at all times.
PHONES & INTERNET ACCESS
Phone signal is not good at the Garrison, but they have now installed publicly accessible wifi.
RACKET STRINGING
We offer a racket stringing service from the Garrison. If your racket has broken strings, loss of tension or a broken/loose bumper strip, bring it in and Paul will restring with your chosen string brand and tension. Any racket/model catered for.
Quick turnaround times and restringing starts from £20. Email paul@offthewallsquash.co.uk with any questions.
COURT HIRE
Unfortunately we cannot offer court hire to our members currently. It’s something we’re exploring, but at present, are not able to provide.
CATERING & REFRESHMENTS
There are no catering facilities available within our squash area at the Garrison, so please remember to bring any refreshments and snacks with you.
There are however vending machines in reception and upstairs for limited drinks and snacks and a water fountain next to the courts.
Please also take rubbish away with you, in order to leave the courts as tidy as possible.
